Provisional crewman, formerly member of Maquis resistance.
Originally, Federation civilian, resident Nuraka III, which was ceded to Cardassia in 2370, after creation of the Demilitarized Zone. Henley, a 7-year veteran of planetary law enforcement, protested Cardassian control of her homeworld; she subsequently was arrested by Cardassian soldiers, convicted of attempted insurrection, and sentenced to life in prison at hard labor. She escaped from custody during transfer to an off-world detention facility, and joined the Maquis.
Served under Chakotay (see file) as crewman on Maquis ship which was lost in the Badlands in 2371. This ship was being sought by the U.S.S. Since recent re-establishment of contact with Voyager, it has been learned that the Maquis personnel have been integrated with the surviving Voyager crew in the Delta Quadrant.
Henley recruited into service on Voyager as auxiliary enlisted crewman, serving as weapons maintenance technician. Initial reports unsatisfactory: "surly, argumentative, poor attitude."
Entered Starfleet field training program led by Voyager security chief Tuvok, stardate 48846. Successfully completed training. No further infractions reported. Currently serving on Voyager as relief weapons officer, relief flight control officer.
